lightning bolts of apathy
surging through your veins
ego penetrating symphony
to the morose, core, insane
pools filled with cynicism
cinderella weeps
mopping up the soul's progression
shambles on her feet
singing songs of depression
feelings lack of luster
ridicule confides in you
alone these feelings muster
directions to the color blue
but green distracts your way
envious beast invites his friends
these dragons meant to slay
the rules of ridicule tend to bend
when desolation charms
ringing bells of innocence
with brothers all in arm
tip-toe through the thorns of freedom
smoking wisdom on the way
put your flag down just to see them
its your independence day

I suppose it's talking about greed and apathy. Perhaps the idiocy of america...but then, what doesn't tell of the idiocy of america?
anyway, i like it...although I wanted to point out the there are some spelling errors...so you know^_^
