The Singer creates songs that touch
How can this person know so much
Uncovering parts of me
I thought no one could see
Does this make me shallow
Or is it him who is deep
From pools of worldly wisdom
Inspiration reap

Prick my conscience
Pull my heart strings
My selfishness reveal
know my weakness
See my anger
In awe before, I kneel

Know me now, and way back when
Know what I desire and what I defend
Tender moments, heartfelt pains
My emotions that he claims
The inner groan, muffled sighs
The hurt caused by so many lies

A knowing truth
A bond is made
To all my being
He serenades

You're telling us what a singer should reveal thru his/her music. But don't forget the music that doesn't just reveal our emotions, but inspire us to be better or awaken our true awareness of the diverse meaning of life!
