as I walk along this lonely road.
The air is cold, my mind is numb,
just too many uncertainties to try and decode.

So many questions going 100 miles an hour,
and not a single answer in return.
When and why did things start to go sour,
did I somehow make a wrong turn?

Each day I live is the same as the last,
nothing ever changes at all.
Time seems to go by so fast,
and I just keep continuing to fall.

How long can the darkness consume me,
will I ever break free from this lingering haze?
I need to somehow stumble upon the key,
the one that unlocks the door to better days.

Great write. Could relate to a lot here..."So many questions going 100 miles an hour and not a single answer in return." and the last line "I need to somehow stumble upon the key, the one that unlocks the door to better days." Thank you for sharing, Peace, Laura

Give of yourself to receive for your own. The greatest investment with the greatest return, is to share with another what is your own. Sorry if this is cliche, but it is true, if you are honest in your approach. But who am I to give advice?

Definitely liked this poem better. This flow sounds more like your style...I enjoyed it...TD
