Fragmented Love

Was it lust or had we fallen in love? When our dischordant directions, Were entangled by the lure, Of the other's homily confidable heart,
Were our volitions confused? I grew neurotic, consumptive, nonlocal, and defused, You fell silent, unsure, suicidal, and bemused,
If only I could softly stroke you, Together, hopelessly in love, to the mind's extent, Liberated from the painful logic, Of fragmented meanings, and misunderstood intent.
