Days of laughter and nothing to worry about
Was lived in some world unknown
Going to school making our rhymes
Looking for dimes to get a soda pop from a machine
Now our world from adulthood views
Almost forget how our childhood began
But since nothing can ever separate the truth
Friendship with you will never end to move
Us apart till the world ends our view
Remember how fun it was running out the house
Couldn't wait to run away from our folks
Bad times, good times made times go by fast
Now we are old enough to laugh at them now
Friend you are always my friend
So keep up the joy of life deep inside of you
Because we both know how to live from youth till old fools

I am smiling and laughing with you, how much fun it was to be a kid, and to carry on as we did, now we are adults and can laugh at our past days, how much fun, oh yes.. so much fun. I really enjoyed this poem, for it can tell just how it was for those days when we were young, having fun, getting away with what we could, and behind our parents backs, which we did those things not to hurt, just to have fun, and they did them too.. great poem.. I loved it, you made my morning here. Faith.. hugs
