Array ( [sid] => 113845 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Last TIme [time] => 2006-01-27 06:07:55 [hometext] => I wrote this after reading a book about a 17 year old leukemia patient, but I hope it's more broad then that. Comments are always appreciated! [bodytext] => I don't know which way I'm going.
I don't know how long I've been here.
But I know precisly what I've been through.
I won't be consumed by my fears.

Now it's time for...
For the last time.

The darkness and the emptiness,
Whisper to my soul.
I am trapped in a life where,
I will never be whole.

They don't know how I feel,
Although they say...I understand.
This hollow void that eats me,
It's taking me.

Is there no hope?

Now it's time for...
For the last time.

I don't want to see the sun
Or the happiness it brings to some.
This fear it wounds me
Almost as much as...

My disease.

Now it's time for...
For the last time.

The last kiss, the last touch, the last chance to say goodbye.
The wish, the last words, do you know - will I die?
The last smile, the last tear, the last whisper.
The last pain, the last fear.
It's all fading now.

Now it's time for...
For the last time. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 505 [topic] => 39 [informant] => felicitous [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
