Ode to My Treasured Sight

My friend let me see a unique sight that she created because of her own happiness, a smile as precious as the cure for pain. To witness the sight again, I would inspire the will that guides her as if her greatness was the key to my own survival. I would release my soul as if I was forever releasing my problems.
Outrageous sight, a second of incredible perfection, energy to fuel the weak, a key to eternal contentment, and the solution to forever relaxing my nerves, mind, and heart: my life was honored in this way by my valued sight. It was so beautiful that for the first time every limb on my body felt like it mattered, mattered so much that the world depended on them to continue to exist.
Nevertheless, I took control of my thoughts and feelings as a man does his tears, as a snowboarder does on a death pleading trick, and as a child does with their innocence so that my excitement wasnt released into unready territory. Like the invisible wind in the worlds presence that carries on and sweeps away everything that gets in the way, I brushed my feelings aside and showed a normal appearing smile.
And the moral of my ode is this: Happiness is twice happiness and what is comfort is double comfort when its the matter of a friend finding happiness because you were the only one who took a step forward for her because you truly cared.
