Cause I believe,
That what I loved the most
Is gone.

Cause I, filled with fear,
Sent you away from me.
Never telling you, words you longed to hear.
Never telling you how I’d feel.

Now the walls are closing in.
Darkness is falling fast and deep into me.
I never follow what is right.
That is why I sent you away from my sight.

But if I cried a river of regret,
And if I , cowardly, confessed.
That yes, you always lived inside and over me,
Would you come, with your love, and cover me?

And all the colors turn grey,
They fade.
Darkness is all I see.
No memories.

Cause I, frightened and weak
Sent you far away from me.
And something that was so pure and simple,
Is now left cold and hollow.

I lie here on the swollen ground,
Without making a single sound.
Thinking about the moments I faltered,
Leaving you broken, shattered.

And if I drowned in my regret,
Would you simply forget?
Would you appear like a night’s dream?
And with your sweet breath come and cover me?

Cause I, without knowing why,
Would send you away from my sight.
Deserted in my heart.
Longing for yesterday’s loss.

And if I willingly revealed,
That, then, I was filled with fear.
That I, was afraid to let go and feel free,
Would you come with your arms and cover me?
