Touching You

Today my heart stopped
As I touched your angels face
I was humble and thankful
You allowed me such grace

I said," You look lovely"
You said, "Thank you" with a smile
My heart whispered, "I love you"
" Have for a while"

You looked so together
From softly falling hair to stylish jeans
Every inch a woman
Desirable by any means

Even now my heart sighs wistfully
At the memory of you today
Trying to explain with words
What only hearts in love can say

If you hear my heart my darling
Then I'm certain you must know
What a joy it was for me
To touch you so!

This is really sweet, you sound completely besotted and in love.
It's a nice change from all the heartbreak that I read on this site.
I'm going to look up some more of your poetry.
Have a great day.
~Jenny~

Very well written-
A powerful insight to what a simple action from the heart can make one feel-
I wish you the best in your adventure into the realm of your love...
