[bodytext] => The black sky, so ominous, Tells me the future is bleak, And who am I to question fate, When my heart is just too weak. The will to run isn’t in me, But the compunction’s just too strong. So I stumble around blindly, And continue to go headlong. Into what, one may question, Does such sightless wandering take? Into the heart of a soulless bliss, A mindless zombie, ready to wake. To travel to the very edge, And return with a sane mind, You must be ever so vigilant, And never acting in like kind. You must never follow, And yet, never lead, For the temptation to do so, Is the way towards needless need. One must strike a careful balance, Between what’s needful, and rest, For without play, all is work, And no one should be that stressed.
