The dolphins in the cove
Swimming freely at play
His own lack of legs he loathed

There she walked the beach
Leaving dancing footprints in the sand
Swaying to and fro
To her own imaginary band

A maiden sweet and beautiful
Hair pure platinum light
Her eyes seemed to sparkle
As if filled with moonlight

She looked up at the window
And gave a knowing smile
As if to say come join me
And we will play awhile

Next he was free of that body
That had left him paralyzed
And his spirit was in a dolphin
One of magnificent size

She joined him in the water
Swimming circles around
Then she just disappeared
And a female dolphin he found

They played and swam with the others
Who all had seemed to know
That this evening was filled with magic
And for them they put on quite a show

She gave him a seashell
One of unusual shape and size
When he awoke in his wheelchair
And could not believe his eyes

This was not a dream at all
As to his ear the shell he held
He really swam free with the dolphins
Thanks to the maidens magical spell

Well, this brought a tear to my eyes Shari. I wish everyone that is paralyzed could their body and do just this. I've often wondered what I would do if placed in a chair like this person here. Just what your poem implied. Leave it within you mind........no one has control over our imagination.........it's never limited, and I'm so glad yours was working so well today, this poem is wonderful in every way!
Warm love
consue
