No matter how hard
you try,
You will always be
the pretty girl
with nice hair.
A virgin of such,
maybe not all,
but in my mind
you will always
be the rosey cheek,
curly haired girl
with long striped
socks.
No use for the word
romantic,
for you are too young,
too innocent.
And certainly not
hopeless, for you
can push forward
with confidence
when the need
arises.
