And pushing

Until Ive had about enough

They keep tempting me
Attracting me
Calling my name
They want me to come close

I keep telling them
Im not the one
Im not right for the job
Find a new person

They shake their heads
Like they understand
They say yes
But are back tomorrow

They keep pushing me
Pulling from both ends
Im about snap
And break apart from the limbs

They patronize
They taunt
Scrutinize my every word
Show me why Im wrong

They keep at it
Persistent
Insistent
That I come with them

I cant imagine
What they want to show me
What could be this important
To keep me from myself

A second ago I was angry
Now I feel suddenly calm
As if telling you about them
Has somehow reversed the harm

No Stopping Them

They keep pushing
And pushing
And pushing me
Until Ive had about enough

They keep tempting me

I keep telling them
Im not the one
Im not right for the job
Find a new person

Can't get angry about that...not such a bad thing really. One day one of them will charm you right back...Almost sounds like one has....don't fight it, just enjoy it for once, geesh! All the best : )
