The night sky holds all my wishes, my body trembles at the memory of your kisses,
The stars cry, as the moon says goodbye,
Another cold day, again my heart pays,

Not knowing if I'm alive, going through the motions we call life,
Lost and confused, a heart beaten and bruised,
Memories of the past is what has placed me in this mask,
The tears burn, but the world still turns,
Day fades to night, night fades to day, leaving only myself to blame,

Could I have changed your mind, I guess I could but Pride is blind,
The words would not come, emotions unshown is the life of The Phantom,
Mysterious feelings, leave me reeling,
The search for love that never comes,

A soul bound by chains, unwilling to break and so they remain,
Locks with no keys, a heart that yearns to be free,
The window to the soul, staring into your eyes I feel so cold,
Breaking in two, my heart begs to be with you.

Forever Faithful
