It drips from my fingers, pools at my feet.
I can reach out and touch her, pull her too me.
I want her.

I am Yellow;
It surrounds me, when I move it shimmers.
Only fear can be there... you can be stripped again.
I only shiver.

The days have past, small paradises in her eyes.
Tender clearness in those kisses, summer in her arms.
And her voice would call to me,
And there was no better place.

Yet the world has changed, resigned futility in those looks.
Akward and cold in her lips, no longer in her arms.
And her voice calls to me,
And I do not answer.

I am Red;
It covers me wholely, and it clouds my sight.
I cannot make my choices, cannot find my way,
And I am Angry.

I am Yellow;
Constantly rushing around me, and it protects me.
What has happened before may happen again,
I cannot survive the cold again.
And I am Cautious.

This is a good write.

I only wonder why you see yourself as only two colors?
There is a whole prism of emotions to be felt.

Nice job

I love this one...and don't agree with the previous comment. Sometimes all you can see is red and yellow

I read other comments and agree, why only two colors? I like the poem, but then I was lost in the middle. It was passionate and sorrow and yet I feel I am missing something. Is there something behind what you wrote?

I did like the way you used the two colors red and yellow; would you write another poem adding other colors in your life? ie: black or white?
