They tear people apart
And they bring people together
You don't tell anyone
For fear they'll come back and bite you in the butt
But we all have them
You just don't know them
They can be bad
Or they can be good
But either or, they are always there
A secret about someone
A secret about you
They are attractive
And they are dangerous
What a power they hold on us
Some secrets so powerful
Men die in its shadow
The magnatuide, the strenght
Even the smallest secret
Can cause one to do strange things
To keep it quiet
We do not keep secrets
They keep us

i agree those last two lines were powerful and it really makes you think about it.. I mean i believe that secrets do keep us and we are forever their slave.. great poem..
