Array ( [sid] => 111395 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Woman Behind the Mask [time] => 2005-12-13 09:22:54 [hometext] => My eldest sister and I recently had a horrible disagreement over the phone....we've had troubles off and on for years. Both too stubborn! [bodytext] => Saddened by your outburst
of angered words
thought we were past that
so much summer healing
once again, we became not just sisters
but close friends

What eats at you?
that you feel you must
lash out at me
yell at me, like a stubborn child
what's inside
that you're so afraid
to set free

It's always been this way with us
we seem to let each other down
all I know is I feel saddened
by your words
which seem to criticize
and demoralize....me

You seem to be stuck
in the same old rut
the one you tried to flee
by moving yourself away
deep into the country
but the old ways
and the crappy days
still find you there
you let him in
always....
once again

go make excuses
for him and everyone else
you take up for the abusers
you must feel the need
to be abused yourself
quit letting the alcoholic in
and quit with the rock and snow
come to your senses, dear sister
for the one to blame, once again
I am not

This is a very personal and emotive piece Laura...Sorry to hear you're feeling the wrath of your sister's pain. Maybe she just needs someone to talk to, someone that can just listen for awhile, and let her vent...I hope things improve soon for you two, and I hope it helped you 'vent' a little, by writing this.

i never realized it till reading this over time you've had your problems and have walked on the downtrotting sid of life like the rest of us, oh well, maybey in time all will heal, though sometimes things just survive better in turmoil, guess it can't always be summer, very revealing and yet beautifuly writting sincere and and from the heart, even a broken one at that . . .

peace 2u sister Laura . . .

My dear Laura,

You have not posted in a bit, so I am forced to travel down your pages and find ..
well, something exquisite like this. It's both heart-wrenching and sad, hun. We are so
quick to lash out at the ones we love best, no? Must be the "comfort-zone" we've grown
accustomed to with them. Knowing, we'll always be there for each other.

I get this. I understand. I know this is an older post and I dearly hope that things are
different for your sis now. My thoughts and prayers with you and yours-

*hugs*

~MG
