The Phantom [bodytext] => Close your eyes, tell me what you see,
Is it me, or him in another fantasy,
Is your love true,
Or am I just a fool who's still in love with you,

Should I let you go,
If I did what would I have to show,
A broken heart, a broken home,
A long life of being alone,

Being haunted by your memory,
Losing sight of this world, feeling empty,
I'll never understand why love grows and then dies,
The sleepless nights, feeling the tears fall from my eyes,

I don't know why I let you slip away,
I guess I couldn't find the words to make you stay,
Now I face the dawn of a new day,
Everything is bright but to me it's all gray,

Thoughts of you fog my mind,
Leaving the black clouds to cover my sunshine,
All I can see is you and him,
All I can say is he was my friend.

Forever Faithful
