[hometext] => Sometimes people who are most different, teach us the most important things in life.
I wrote this poem about Michael because he is disabled. He is 25 years old, but has the mind of a 4 year old. He has taught me many things, and I am really greatful for that. [bodytext] => Michael you have taught me, About love, kindness, and friendship, And the thing that was so special about the way you taught me, Was you taught it without words You show your love for everyone, By giving them a hug, And you know that a hug can make someone’s day, All of a sudden turn around. If people got to know you, I know they would feel the same way, And like your sister Loni said… “Michael is like an orange, If you get past the rough skin, You’ll get to the sweet aroma and wonderful taste within." The sweet tangy aroma and the wonderful taste, Is all the love, kindness, and friendship, Michael shows every day. But unlike the orange, Everything Michael has to offer, Will keep going on forever.
