Array ( [sid] => 110942 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Death [time] => 2005-12-05 04:42:32 [hometext] => I wrote this for those that have fought and died and those that will return home from this place. Much love to all my boys here in Iraq....Steve [bodytext] => Death
The closing of eyes with in your demise
Forever silences in which we must lie
The loss of breath
To forever sleep
To give up your life
And reach defeat
Dark shades that fade to black
The loss of life
As your souls intact
The end of the fight
That was fought so true
Memories left that are dreams of you

A life remembered will forever last
Live for the future and forget the past
Remember a life and it will live within
Forget its death for it was dealt by sin

Dark shadows that cloud my soul
Storms of death that make me cold
Why not me who made the choice
To take his life and kill his voice
A family forgotten and left alone
Left to suffer as their hearts turn cold
So much pain that plagues our souls
Hate in our hearts as they’re left unwhole

Forever prayers I will always pray
For those that fall and die each day
My heart goes out for families in pain
Remember their lives and remember their names
They died for a country that will forever be free
For they lived to give freedom to you and me
