i am stale in the rememberance of you
too many roles you have played
and your wall of rewards is comforting
until i drop the truth like a grenade
hot in my mouth are the words
that will leave us in the wake
of this damage
i pulled the pin
and yes it was intentional
i love this crater of filth
it is honest
my only regret
is that i didn't pull it sooner
i fiddled with it
knowing
what the grenade reveals
is all we are
all we have
a crater of filth
finally honest

The imagery is absolutely amazing. All of your words brought together, piece by piece, really helped solidify the picture as a savage rendering of "stale remembrance" And, could there be anything more incisive and direct than:
i pulled the pin
and yes it was intentional
i love this crater of filth
it is honest
All in all... it's a solid piece of literature and fit
for the pages of a published book..
