But fallen with the old
Sold my stories for a dime
And a quarter for my soul

My thoughts turned to my actions
Not in what I’ve done but in what I have not
With each night bringing me closer
To losing everything that I got

Now I’m still young, but I have lived
(Maybe more maybe less than you)
And I’m still stupid, but I have learned
(Maybe more, maybe less than you)
And though my soul is dead, it still burns
(Maybe more, maybe less than you)
(But you never knew)

I slip my body into sheets
Pray to a God I’ll never meet
And now I drift off to sleep
Completley incomplete

My thoughts turned to my actions
Not in what I’ve done but in what I have not
With each night bringing me closer
To losing everything that I got

Now I’m still young, but I have lived
(Maybe more maybe less than you)
And I’m still stupid, but I have learned
(Maybe more, maybe less than you)
And though my soul is dead, it still burns
(Maybe more, maybe less than you
(But you never knew)

So take it easy
Knowing it’s already gone
And if it even existed
There’s no proof of it at all

Speak to us, not at us, trust in yourself, you may be young, never stupid, keep living, share.. you will make a dandy good lawyer some day..
