Just staring at the stars
There they are
Sitting there looking at the stars
Talking about the future.
They've been together a year
She's known she's loved him for a long time
When she told him he said he wasn't sure
She hasn't bothered him about since
But she always makes sure he knows she loves him.
While they're sitting there
Staring at the starts
Talking about the future
He turns to look at her
She doesn't look back at him
She just sits there.
She wonders what he's doing
They sit there in silence for what seems like forever
She finally turns to him and asks him why he's looking at her
He says she's too beatiful not to look at.
This makes her blush a little
She tells him she loves him
He doesn't say anything
By now she's used to this.
She leans over to kiss him then turns back to the stars
He moves over to her
Kneeling right in front of her
Blocking her view
She doesn't say anything just looks at him
He looks at her and realzes she's everything he wants
He can't believe he didn't say it sooner
Realize it sooner
But now he finally says "I love you."
She just looks at him to shocked to talk
She didn't expect this
She loves him but she didn't think he loved her back
He looks hurt that she doesn't say anything
So she says "I love you too." and kisses him.
It was the perfect moment.
He moves to sit beside her again
They just sit there all night holding hands
Looking up at the stars
Each of them knowing this is the one
The one person they want to spend the rest of their lives with. It is sure a wonderful moment… the time and those stars… perfect indeed. Well written.
