I Finally Belong

In this day of separation
You decorated yesterday's desperation
In this time of goodbye
Your hello made me fly
In this moment unable to mourn
You enter my life sadly torn
In this darkened hour
Left with pride's coward
In this confusion
Almost like a lifelong solution
At this very second arises guilt
I should be crying until I wilt
This heart is once again and suddenly mine
On top of the world, you make me shine
Not knowing you for long
But knowing here is where I finally belong.
