Helped me through thick and thin.
Held my hand when times where rough,
And pulled out the woman within.

You treated me when I was sick,
And I couldn’t help my self.
And now all I have left of you,
Is that picture on the shelf.

I look at that picture everyday,
Thinking about memories of you and I.
The day we laid you in the ground,
Is the day my world crashed and died.

I know your watching over me,
From Heaven or afar
My only wish when I grow up,
Is to be half the woman you are.

Wonderful tribute to your grd mother. Excellent choice in words and emotion. How often we all feel these lines when we have lost our Moms .
God bless and she is watching
