starting back at me
begging me to spill
a little ink
fill their spaces
with the crimson
of my voice
It's hard to speak
when your throat has been slashed

Empty Pages
that will never
taste the ink
the writer of
my screenplay
will never finish
she has found
a new leading man

The Empty Pages
bare witness
to what happens
to accidents
blood shed
and broken hearts
so ignore
my pathetic
attempts to get to you

The Empty Pages
document the silence
in my bedroom
and my phone
lies silent on the table
I'm still breathing
Am I still alive?

These pages are empty
because I wrote it on the walls
so I'll look at them constantly
perfectly snow white empty
the tangible white noise
constantly play through my head
maybe I should soak them
with the crimson of my voice

Empty Pages
Starting at the beginning
without you
fill the pages
with your tears
cause I'm done
drain my blood
til the page runs red

Empty Pages
that I need to fill
to tell you how I hate you
maybe then I'll finally
get over you
I hope you lose control
and the last thing that goes
through your head is me

Empty Pages
like the silence
in my head
hard to fill
since you've been gone
like you left my heart
drained my blood
til there's nothing left

The Empty Pages
are slowly draining
my crimson voice
soon everything
will go black
and I'll sleep
a thousand years
six feet under

The Pages Are Empty
the inkwell is full
I filled it with
blood and tears
the only thing I have left
your apologies
aren't good enough
though you dont say a word

Empty Pages
testify the
sojourn to
find your replacement
but I'm never statisfied
another you would only kill me
no one matches how bright
you burn my blood

Empty Pages
that soak up
my blood
that I spill
to make me feel
more like human
to die

Empty Pages
that demand my voice
what's left to say
what more can I say
what the ***** was
I thinking?
enjoy the silence

these nites
I'm burning
to fill the
empty pages
with the voice
in my head
so I'll have
silence once more

Empty Pages
come full circle
like a morbious strip
stuck in this endless
cycle
I'm left staring
back at an empty page [comments] => 1 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 13 [informant] => emokid [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
