[title] => But We'd Rather
[time] => 2005-10-28 00:49:45
[hometext] => We'd rather do lots of things. But what if we found that they hurt us?
[bodytext] => If we break our lives down They break into this: A search for lasting happiness A search for lasting bliss. Some people enjoy best the present Right now’s fleeting joys, no matter how potent In somebody else’s arms is the place to be There, cloaked in the throes of ecstasy. For others, happiness is in their work For they possess patience’s quirks Who find joy in the journey, joy in the hardship For them, all of life is just…another trip. Even less treat happiness as an unlooked-for surprise One of the little things that brings light to their eyes Life, death, neither makes a difference; Experience to them is just a biased inference. As for ideas, here’s yet another; Happiness doesn’t exist, but we’d just d’ruther Say that it does. But……if there is no such thing like that here Then why would the lack of it bring any fear?
