If you turn your back on tomorrow, youll drown in yesterdays sorrow. Break the chains of yesterday, rapped around your heart. Yesterday died a long time ago, choose to walk on your own, and youll cry alone... When all fades away but loneliness, youll have silence to call your own. Shadowsdark empty spaces, watching over you whilst you sleep. Shadows cant keep you warm, wipe your tears when you weep. No one said it would be easy, you cant put your arms around, what you do not have. Moments can take forever, and dreams of one day, now light-years apart Hopes of tomorrow, fall from grace In an empty moment; love lost its place. The thin line between fear and fate, when love and hate collide. Waking from a dream, to realize it never was. Within your faceless fears, the answers you seek a beautiful mind the truths you speak. Believe in shattered promises, and your world will brake in two. When the walls come tumbling down, and your hopes turn to dust, who will mend your broken heart. Holding on to what you have, letting go of the past. You cant put your arms around, what you do not have When you close your eyes, what do you see, is there anythinganything at all? In an empty moment; love lost its place. A heart ones whole; bends then it breaks. A rusted soul; shifts then it shakes The thin line between fear and fate, when love and hate collide.
