Afraid to want and wish, cause of maybe finding out it all ends
Afraid to really live and hope, cause of what might be around the bend
Afraid of feeling love and fullfillment, cause of all the past hurt

I think at some point everyone's like this. I know for myself, I was always scared, to tell people how I felt - I still am. Afraid that if I fell inlove I'd only get hurt or hurt another again. Scared to move forward because of what I might run into, scared to look back because of what my past beholds. Everyone is scared at one point or another, so know your not alone. Very good write. I can relate.

everyone is terrified of what they don't understand or just don't need to deal with

don't be afraid, you've too much to live for
a cavernous heart is one built to give more
your emotions aren't leading to a path where you drown
perhaps they will end in a nice wedding gown

Although I don't know you and we'll never meet
keep the clouds in your head and the ground on your feet.
