Today, I will tell you what your life means to me, when I look at your face, your smile, and when you look my way, I reach to you, kiss me; touch my lips.

Are they soft, can you wait? You know, I want to tell you, how you fill my soul. How the sun shines over us, how the moon helps me to skip that beat. When I watch you in my minds eye, the stars; are not there for a reason.

If you think so, then go, cascade your dreams, but while you do that, remember, the dark skies lighten soon. If you should ever want to see me, to call me, heavens gate is open. Kiss me there, if you cannot kiss me here, beauty awaits. Touch me as a painting, smooth my rainbow beauty, perhaps you cannot understand, this love I know.

Before I knew you, here I was waiting; my eyes saw you first. Yes, it was happiness; passion, it was all there. I could tell you so much, what I know about you too. You are a gift in my life. Cherish, you want that word?

Ok, so, sustain me with it, laugh with me; love me; Hold our friendship first. If you can do that, you have me, forever. Now you know as much as I do, perhaps. I will say one more thing! Infinitely, I love you! I love you without boundaries, and I love you, beyond, time. :> [comments] => 4 [counter] => 193 [topic] => 2 [informant] => DreamPoetess [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Meagan, this truly is very beautiful, but very hard for me to read. You say you broke it up to make it easier to read, but for me it would have been easier to read if each verse had been structured in a sentence-like form. For example, your first verse;

Today, I will tell you what your life means to me,
when I look at your face, your smile,
when you look my way, I reach for you,
kiss me; touch my lips.

You may disagree, that is your option, it is afterall your poem. But structuring to me makes for a much easier read. Other than that it is a splendid write.

Rita

This is so lovely and deep Meagan. Love is the force that makes the universe fuction and the planets whirl.
Blessings
Elizabeth
