too many to breathe
dominos fall down
around my knees
ogling with faces
strained
stained
with paint and tears
hushed tones of
spoken fears
Buying into the man
wish I wasn't here
I
need
clear
view
ahead
no voices violating
me...

among the wal-mart dead

I have a friend who say the same thing. He has this saying:

"I have to wear aluminum fiol over my head when ever I go into a store like that so that people don't use the bright lights to bore into my brain".

Ugh, thats why i never go to Walmart. It is so overly populated that sometimes its hard to breath anymore.

Lets ban Walmart, heheheehe.

Hi Laura,

Very creative style, and a fun poem to read. Whenever I go into Wal-Mart, or some such store, I feel like i'm in a maze, and I may not find my way out. I may have to spend hundreds of dollars before they will let me out of the store! :)

Peace be with you, my friend

Will

I know the feeling all too well. It is the ecstasy of perfect recognition.
