the thunder strikes the lightning blazes where are you in this storm
feeling ghostly memories of finger nails and hot breath
the gentle kiss or the feel of a soft caress
the ghost of you beside me

this haunting image of waking up with you still beside me my everyday nightmare
or the sound of your feet against my floor eerie in its silence
the gentle sound of deep sleep that put my mind at ease
all faded memories but always to torment me so
faced with a curse of never forgetting day in day out all the same
faced with this vision of your beauty to never forget [comments] => 6 [counter] => 180 [topic] => 2 [informant] => lostrelic [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
