I dont know why I feel the way I feel. I dont know how long it will last.
I dont care if my head is spinning I wont know until it stops if Im dizzy.
Why should I wonder if Im sick Things that dont matter those are the ones hurt.
The things that are important are things we overlook.
I dont bother the Goddess on her day off I dont wonder bother the saints on their retreat.
I dont wonder if God or Jesus or Mary Are just the fad religion of the week.
Because the things that are important are the things we overlook.
And the things that dont matter are the ones that always hurt.
I dont ask if you love me nor do I want to know.
I dont ask why theres lipstick on your collar I dont ask if you hate me and want to betray me.
I just want to know if youll pay the rent.
And I know they dont matter because Im hurt and the important issues are being overlooked.
But if I could see what was important to me, why would I be wasting time.

Good poetry. WRITE MORE.
And internalizing the worst things works...until you get thrown into psychotherapy, or commit suicide, or lash out. You HAVE to face the big problems instead of overlooking them. |
