It's All Right

Why it must be grand To have time on your hands To be able to do as you please Not much on your plate And enough time to wait And observe just how this day will end
But the thoughts that crowd in When your duties grow thin And the memories that haunt your poor mind Can be hard to endure As you go on a tour Of love, and of loss, and of pain.
Or perhaps your thoughts are all peppered With concern, and worry, and doubt As you think of all your future prospects You may feel the need just to shout
Or you sit and just silently wonder Can the few dreams you have find their truth? Is it possible that what you've believed in Can ever, fully be proved?
Will the one with who's heart your entangled Ever be in your strong, empty arms? Will your desires, dreams, and affections Ever meet in her womanly charms?
O faithful, and all loving Father My destiny always control Fill my heart and my mind Throughout all of time With Your perfect, unmistakable will.
