Look beyond
That what you see
Might fill your mind
With mystery

Seek within
As well without
Those answers that
Dispel your doubt

Slumber with
What you have learned
For within dreams
Such knowledge burns

Then comes that
Fateful day at hand
You live your dreams
And understand

Wonderful write, nazzy as always. If only enlightenment could
really be acquired in this way. Or, do you know something
the rest of us poor saps don't? lol Living your dreams....yes this
would be grand. But to understand? Total serenity!

Loved this!
~Breezy
p.s. perfectly titled! ; ~)

Naz,

A thought provoking write. Perhaps you are alluding to maturity in reaching that level of understanding. Or perhaps achieving insight is the accomplishment. At any rate being able to live one's dream is a wonderful goal.

I really like the poem Nazzy, and a great title

Will/Terry

I like this very much. You are a true poet.

Sometimes even a dream can not fill an empty heart.

Ah, an excellent title for an excellent piece of work.
My access was down nearly 24 hours, and I couldn't get you the title ideas that were eluding me anyway. This on is extraordinary, my friend...but then, you knew that already. It's a perfectly woven tapestry.

*Points at Breezy's last statement* Mm hmm, don't you ever doubt yourself, mister! :-P.

Wow, I really dunno what to say about this one, cheri... (of course, that means I'm going to start off with a couple of sentences and then end up with a volume of compliments...SEE?!?! I already started rambling, gosh, how can you stand me??) LOL. ^_^. My dear friend... you write of hope and dreams soon to be a reality, hence your lovely title. Such an optimistic and graceful poem! It flows like a velvet gown on marble floor... very vivid, and extremely heart-warming!! Isn't sudden inspiration divine? ;-) ^.^ I must smother you with compliments on your beautiful rhyming skills! All of your poems possess a unique essence and splendor, they are all enchanting and flawless... but the ones that rhyme, wow... I'm not a fan of rhyming poems, but yours just leave me breathless. I can't emphasize it enough: You are a poet's poet, my dear. Please... never stop writing. It'd be a tragic day when that happens... Always a pleasure reading your masterpieces, cheri Scott. Will comment on more soon. All my love. Forever,

Your dear friend/avid fan,

~*Stephy*~ (who notices that she is psychic and predicted that she'd ramble away again, :-P. *can't help meself, heehee ^.^*.)

i felt a magical quality to this poem ...
seemingly with carefully chosen words ...

there was a missed opportunity to become really preachy ...

but it ended simply and, so wise

quite brilliant

The only thing I DIDN'T love about this poem was that it ended so quickly :P
