There is a calm to the ocean which strokes her waves

A jitter in the jungle where the lion feels no sorts of brave

The symphony has been robbed its instruments as they sit to play

On the stage, the hangman hangs, by a rope around his neck

The mask of rainbow stars. Covers his anonymous face

The audience has been seated, silenced, and waits, for a taste

In the janitors bathroom, under the exit sign, of the left wing emergency staircase

There is an air of hopelessness to your words in this piece, yet your true thoughts are kind of muddled.
A trip inside your mind is never boring, but it's never straight-forward either! I hope things get better for you.

I find this rather intriguing. I clicked on it because of the title, wondering to myself what kind of poem would be titled "employees only"? I wasn't sure what to expect, and then there's this sort of masquerade ball effect of various people until the last line when the solitude happens.
I... get the overall feeling that it's like some of the poems we went over in literature class where the first reading is not the one that gives away the meaning -- it's hidden under the associations and in the descriptions. "Like" seems too simple a word for the emotions it generates. I'm rarely moved to comment this much on a poem.
Blessings, J.
