Weve so much in common
yet how much more different can we be?
seeing that you are you,
and I am me.

Yes its true
we both have poetic souls
yet while your is whole
mine... well mine is shattered.

You write darkly
with sadness and depression.
Whereas I write emotionally
from your father. from my past.

He is the one who made me me,
he created my insanity,
that day he disowned me,
told me he didnt want me.

You say he cant think about me
without tears coming to his eyes
when Im ready I should talk to him.
But heres the thing
I dont want to make a grown man cry.

very sad, tears almost come to my eyes...but emotional poems make the best...they have the feeling in them that others don't.
