Daylight crawls I scrape the pain away
My world is ending, will I see a brighter day
All that we made and built up now destroy
End of our union, in the middle a boy
Heart feeling heavy, words sear my mind
Lovers to enemies, no middle ground to find
Our marriage now a battleground, a bond broke at the joint
Torn up and hurt, emotions bleed, upon this raw flashpoint
