To that which lies below
Despite my hardest efforts made
You stayed, and now you know

The shadows that envelope me
Dark chains that weigh me down
Mocking voices echoing
You clearly heard the sound

Underneath the smiling face
A deeper well exists
This pit I sometimes fall inside
When the voices still persist

As liquid grief closed overhead
I felt upon my Soul
A warm and gentle hand, above
Saving me, your goal

The mask’s still here, though little used
My smile still sometimes jaded
But underneath, I feel at peace
My Faith no longer faded.

No, judasman, something better. It's already something good, unless your eyes cannot see good poetry (I didn't say that for certain yet, I'll have to look your work and comments up). My friend Loende, this was good. It might need somesanding at the edges, but that's it. Well done.
Take care.
David
