A gunshot in a broken home?
A body cold as ice?
A soul that's alone?
Could anyone hear
The tears over rain?
Nothing left to fear.
One instant of pain.

It's hard to breathe
When you got a hole in your chest
It's hard to speak
When your dead
Face down in the James
To erase the pain

I'm so tired of running
Running from demons
From myself cutting
Free the human
I'm so damn weak
Can't get up from here
I'm beginning to sink
Into somewhere out there

Let my body drop
Expand the wound
This has to stop
The gun sounds
The end of me
I break
I cease to be

if you want to be known as a freak, then a freak you shall be. if not, then you gotta change your attitude. but the poem was good, it really portrayed the darkness your excpierencing right now and the feelings that are caving you in, good job.

i've been through alot. in the end it comes down to you. it always does. only you can fix yourself. others can help, but its you who needs to fix yourself mentally. its thoughts....negativity...the obvious....when were in need and no ones there were so alone, but then again we've also choosen to be alone at times when were in need. we isolate ourselves...we ruin are selves and let others do the same...dealing....deal....

please comment on my work too...

I understand how you suffer, emokid. But one must know that the person firing the gun is also suffering.
Remember, you only suffer because you understandably and unconsciously CHOOSE to suffer.
There is always a way out of mental pain.
I myself have gone through the mental pain and anguish of a life of Depression, hiding, and cutting. But since then, I have discovered a book called 'The Dharma of Star Wars' by Matthew Bortolin. Go to my poem of the same name for more details.
And also, you don't have to be a Star Wars fan to understand what Bortolin is trying to say in his book. It's really helping me. I think it may help everyone with a mind that is open to all suggestions.
