And because of all his pain, an awful din he'd make
I won't go to the dentist, he cried and cried again
Bur yet young Snoopy had to go, his cries were all in vain

He tried to sit inside the chair, his tail was in the way
"You won't get chance to touch my mouth, I'll come another day"
"Now Snoopy don't be silly, I need to look inside
So come out of that cupboard, your far to big to hide

At last Snoopy is captured and has to show his teeth
The dentist wipes his brow now with a feeling of relief
When suddenly a flame shoots out oh! deary me oh! gosh
The poor old Mr Dentist is minus a moustache

There's such a huge commotion and Snoopy still in pain
Decides to get it over with and opens mouth again
There, it is all finished, at last the deed is done
The tooth is out in just a flash and now the pain is gone [comments] => 5 [counter] => 236 [topic] => 5 [informant] => gwenevere [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )
