to keep in my eye the fear from a fly

driving on the 210, morning gridlock again
nothing else can keep me, but the time with you
the air is almost dreamy, dawning sun is steamy
no one else here for me, so i have you here now
what can we do now that youre here
what do i do this time ends i fear

im not gonna cry and im not gonna lie
but why oh why does it have to be like this
you pray every day that it would be our way
what i can i say but enjoy these times we will miss

talking on the cell phone, with a jewel far from home
what good times we've had, they keep getting better
night breeze is cool now, gotta go home dunno how
times are getting shorter, but still you are here now
what can we do now that youre here
what do i do this time ends i fear

im not gonna keep fearing the fly...
all this fear of nothing could make me die...

oh these times are so strange
pray every day it will change
