Array ( [sid] => 104629 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Im Ready now [time] => 2005-08-29 18:17:18 [hometext] => this is a personal poem about when i met and fell in love with my boyfriend [bodytext] => Staring at the mirror,
Couldn’t let anybody see,
They shouldn’t know,
They couldn’t know,
The person that lurks inside.
A person full of sadness,
Full of pain and hate.
Nothing but an empty,
Hollow shell.
But then I found the key,
To this wounded soul.
I then unlocked the gateway,
And let you walk right through.
You helped relieve the pain,
the aching deep inside.
My world was then enlightened,
With the love so pure
And true, that neither
Highest height or
Deepest depth could
Ever break it.
I know feel I am finally alive,
I am finally loved and
Instead of staring in the mirror,
I’m staring at the world.
And anything it may fling at me.

Good Poem-
Mirrors only reflect outer bueaty-
Love often shows the inner bueaty that hides no more-
You no longer into the mirror, yet look into the pool(the eyes)-
The eyes are the windows to the soul...

It is truly amazing how one person can change our whole outlook on life and ourselves. Because of his love for you, you found the strength to face the world head on. Nice write. Keep strong.

Smiles,
Rita
