Dreams turn to nightmares
wishes become nothing more than dust
hope fades away after awhile
and tears are just like clear blood

No one can be a virgin
when life screws us all
but when the sand runs out
there's nowhere to turn

your life is over, there's nothing you can do
so just give in to the power greater than you
you drown yourself in bloodstained tears
because you don't know the truth

I loved your poem because so many in the world today feel the way you do. I guess since I have known the Lord at the age of 12. I don't exactly how you feel. But I can say this.When our minds get on things around us. We can't see GOD. If we think of ourselves. or life so much. We can't see him that way either. He has taught me this. I know that I know that if you get your mind on him and seek his face, seek his voice. everything about him. YOU will find him and your life can be turned around and see happiness that you dreamed of. and the excitement of the other world that he has planed for you.

This was the line that really caught my attention. It's true, life is always screwing people over. I really liked your poem because I can relate to it. Keep up the good work.
