It's 7 in the morning
the rain is coming down
out on the porch I sit
in my night gown
My head is pounding
but all that I can feel
is the love I have for you
my love is oh so real
coffee in one hand
pencil in the other
listening to the birds sing
writing poems one right after another
Just wanted you to know
you are thought of each and every day
every moment, every hour
and that's all I have to say
