doom rising up a strangers harsh stare pain deeper than anyone cares to know suffocating in a world of hate cruelty spreads like a plague hard hearts hostile voices wicked words sadness consumes everything within unable to hold onto reality sinking into the darkness around me i slide down into my chair write for sweet release saving me from myself from what haunts letting it through the doorway of my soul
