I die to yesterday but live where new joy brings
hope and love that takes away the tires of the heart
You reach you hands inside of me to love and hope impart

I get joy when I think about all you''ve done for me
though I''ve caused you pain and trouble
you allow me to be
a friend to you that walks with you in the wholeness of my life
I am so greatful unto you
you understand my plight

I looked across the field today
I watched the sun rise up
I listened to the crickes sing
oh Lord you filled my cup
I only touch the threshold
of how much you love me
I start my day in emptiness
but you help me to see

Holy Lord
Holy Lord
This is my song and prayer unto thee
Holy Lord
Holy Lord
Thank you for the things you do for me

I am not worthy of my life
because of my great sin
and yet you keep me healthy
you cure me when I''m sick
My heart is opened up
and it''s filled with songs of joy
you help me to overcome
the enemies great ploys

I can''t wait to see you
I can''t wait to see my friend
who helped me through my troubles
you were my truest friend
and even when I turned from you
you poened up a path
you brought my life back close to you
I am in your debt

I went camping this weekend. It was awesome. Nature always give me a new perspective on life. I heard the crickets and frogs chirping. The moon lit the sky and the ground brightly. I left having a new hope about life and many new dreams to pursue, the most important of which is talking to God. This prayer is an expression of the love I have and want to deepen with the creator of the earth who gives the sun and moon for light and helps us see him if we look.

A most loving powerful tribute to the Holy Spirit. He is with us always, even when we are not with him.

Blessings,
Rita

Nicely done. It is awesome to be able to reflect on God's goodness away from all humanity's dark rain-curtain. It opens the eyes.

Beautiful words.
