[title] => Two Little Girls Sit Alone in the Rain
[time] => 2005-08-18 22:28:23
[hometext] => I've been feeling really aweful lately, and all the sorrow found a way out through this poem
[bodytext] => Two little girls sit alone in the rain A boy comes by and sees they’re in pain 'What’s wrong little girl? Where are you hurt?' The blonde one answers “My heart was flung into the dirt' The boy then sees the red head and asks her name 'My names is Megz, let’s get out of this rain' The red head leaves but the blonde girl stays No one wants to be with her these days The red head returns with tears in her eyes The blonde one holds her while she cries and cries 'I thought he loved me! But he was so mean!' I whisper curses about the fiend 'Don’t you worry, I’ll always be here' 'As long as we’re friends there’s nothing to fear' Two little girls sit alone in the rain A boy comes by and sees they’re in pain 'What’s wrong little girl? Where are you hurt?' The red head answers “My heart was flung into the dirt' The boy sits down and whispers his name 'A pretty girl like you shouldn’t sit out here in the rain' The red head leaves but the blonde girl stays No one wants to be with her these days The red head returns with a smile and sparkling eyes 'Oh Lauren! I feel like I could fly!' The blonde one laughs with her but feels dead inside No one is here to hold her for her to cry and cry The red head gossips about her new guy The blonde one listens while her heart wrenches and dies Two little girls sit alone in the rain The boy comes by and sees one isn’t in pain 'Hello baby, how are you today?' The red head jumps up and they kiss away The blonde one looks up, tears streak down her face But she doesn’t move, she knows her place 'You’re so pretty, there’s no one I’d rather be with' The blonde one watches as in the rain their figures drift The red head doesn’t return, her eyes aren’t there to light up the night The blonde girl curls up on the curb and waits for the shimmering sight Wet golden locks stick to the pavement, her eyes go dull Her arms are empty and her heart is full The love ferments and turns black The poisonous love runs through the viens, fuel for an attack One little girl sits all alone in the rain A boy comes by and doesn’t see she’s in pain He picks up her limp body and screams to the sky 'Why?' He sits on the curb and weeps with the little blonde girl in his arms He was the one who would was supposed to protect her from harm Too late, too late was the boy Too late to save the little girl who was treated no better than a toy The red head returns with tears in her eyes There is no one to hold her for her to cry and cry The red head stands alone in the rain While the boy cries and starts to go insane 'She was always there for me, but I wasn’t there for her…' 'I was always her main concern' The boy holds the red head and the blonde one too Two who were too late mourn under the unforgiving moon The rain falls and washes away the last of the blood She had fallen into a crimson puddle with a thud The poison had no way out, so the little blonde girl made a door She sliced away the past when she was treated like a whore Unseeing eyes staring up at the sky The wish for her prince gone as she slowly died Finally, gone was all the pain Finally to be washed away in the beautiful rain [comments] => 2 [counter] => 190 [topic] => 75 [informant] => Kitty06 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )
