She played my heart like a harpsichord

My little baroque beauty

Love ballads balanced and bound

She painted a heart on her sleeves
Oh how adorable

Little miss irony
I broke her piety

She heard my whispered screams

Smiled child-like
I was always the shy type

She molded me bold

I was a pawn in her mock bondage

She didn't like it when I played jump rope with the chains

I didn't know better
I told her she better know

Love making was ballet

Her plies and the way she pirouetted
And she sung opera
Toned and talented

Skin like the renaissance
She wore dresses made of autumn
I'd strip her bare 'till i saw winter

She bore fruit

You did a really REALLY great job on this. You have so many great similes and metaphors. I also like how you made it such a free write- not having a rhyme sheme really makes me pay attention to the words you wrote.

The style of poem was really consistant as well, like it sounds like a 'reminisce' all the way through. Kudos to you for your imagery, I get mental pictures as I read it.

keep writing, keep hoping
