All feeling of pain…
Every repeated sigh…
Mistake’s made…
Every unsaid goodbye
I don’t want to know who I am…
Or who you are…
Why I’ve cried these tears
And how I got this scar…

Give me peace of mind
In fact remove everything I know
Erase every story of heart break
And how loneliness did then grow
Give me amnesia any day
So I can gratefully suppress and forget
Why I’m cutting away now
Why my restless soul does fret

Remembering is not a gift
It causes dread, regret and sorrow
I’ll bash my head so I cannot call to mind
Neither my name, yesterday nor tomorrow
Oh please wipe my brain
Of all memories, past and present
Beyond all painful recall
Smear away this memory of mine
All that’s false and true take it all.

Ihave felt exactly the same. Of course, we could be like children and men, and just have selective memory.

It was beautiful. I honestly wish for that alot. I've just never been able to express it like you. Great job.
